This is an older blog (by about 3 years) but I thought it was still good. Wanted to put it in the more recent posts.

I think irony is an important subject to be discussed and understood within schools, and should be applied to life events. (for we do not escape the stories we read about, we only play different shades of actors within different settings).
irony is a participant in the grand scheme of coincidence. (but of course, there is no such thing as coincidence; all action is based on cause and effect and has a repercussion. Thus, there are no unintelligible equations. in other words, no instance is without a reason for its creation; all movements within this universe have a conscious effort behind them that entertwines with so many other actions that the connections are lost in our simple logical minds. there is no reaction without an action.)
considering that all of OUR (aka: every 'living' being) actions are completed with conscious decision to act them and give them energy (with the blessing of our free-will to choose what we do/think/feel), some form of conscious energy is behind every movement of energy in this universe. THUS NO ACTION IS WITHOUT CONSCIOUSNESS, AND COINCIDENCE (which has previously been defined as a co-inciding of events without any logical or apparent relation) IS THEREFORE PART A CAUSE AND EFFECT SYSTEM GOVERNED BY OUR COLLECTIVE ENERGY.
IRONY, part of the scheme of coincidence, is "an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected." In drama, it is when a character says or acts in direct opposition to what he thinks or plans to do. (acts in opposition). In life, it is a mockery of our expectations of an outcome.
in order to understand, i will give you a personal example. If you have driven with me, you may know my fear of driving near big huge trucks.
so I was driving on the freeway, and i decided to overcome my fear. something in my head told me, 'how ironic it would be to die of a collision with a truck! here you are, always speeding ahead, or slowing behind, using your energy to avoid your fear, expecting that your actions will keep you safe from harm, and then you die from the very thing you took caution to avoid!" so i decided that it was time to overcome my fear; I drove right next to the truck on the freeway, and going at 65mph I kept right alongside it and practically raced it all the way to my exit. funnily enough, it was taking my same exit. I feel that I have escaped a certain type of karma that is derived from fears and expectations. karma is karma and, like energy, can be transferred without care to how. however, being that our entire lives are a 'drama' (Hindu scriptures call it 'Maya' after the goddess of delusion) karma may focus on ironic situations that are given extra energy by our focus upon them.
I had focused on colliding with trucks while driving; my fear was given energy by my focus.
however, you can escape this type of irony by not feeding the ironic situation. the more energy you give to anything by focusing upon it, the more you attract it.
LAW OF ATTRACTION: WHATEVER YOU FOCUS ON EXPANDS.
fear is in the future; it is the preconceived expectation of pain.
your fears increase and your perception of your strength decreases. so do not let in to your expectations, because as I said before about irony, expectating a certain action to happen may result in the opposite reaction.
control your fears by banishing your expectation. there is no predestined event except that your thoughts (which lead to actions and then to events) preconceive. THAT IS YOUR DOING. understand that, and you will save yourself a lot of IRONY AND COINCIDENCE that is unfavorable to your life.
I understand it is hard to just 'let go' of expectations, especially after so much energy has been put into a certain situation. but know this: letting go requires the most power, and gives you the most power, in any situation. you are the most flexible, and your world is not so rigid that if any part of it is cracked the rest will shatter.
however, any law and any energy is not biased or prejudice. how this applies negatively, it may be applied positively. "expect nothing and recieve everything" is a powerful phrase to remember. if you focus on good things, energy will expand the good things and they will grow in your life. if you are in a bad place and fear it getting worse, that fear is an expectation of things worsening; so let go of expectation and focus on good RIGHT NOW (not tommorow, not next year; NOW! -else the energy will not come into effect because energy does not exist in the future or the yesterday; it exists now, so you must enact the changes you want to make in the present.)
remember, as well, smiling makes everything better. it is a small action witch causes neurons in your brain to connect in remembrance of instances in which you smiled and were happy; therefore, the brain is tricked into thinking that you are happy and it begins to send the endorphins that usually accompany those happy feelings. you will become happier if you put real energy into it (not just half-assing a smile for a couple of minutes). that's why all of what you feel is a choice. honestly try to smile sometime when things are frustrating, and ALLOW (let go of your expectation and attachment to the frustration) the chemical reaction to take place in your body that accompanies happiness. You will realize that your feelings and emotions are triggers in your body which are under your conscious control.
well, happy days my beautiful readers! love you very much. you are never alone.
