been really occupied at this house, in Nuremberg, actually.
lots of nature walks and holy things and meditation and this whole house is white and it's great because it's got good energy.
I ordered a book and sent it back home.
It's called "Music and Sound in the Healing Arts"
I'm reading a copy here of it, but I want my own, so I'm having my mum bring it to me when she visits Frankfurt.
I also want to check out the book "The Flower of Life"
I'm reading this healing and sound book and taking tons of notes.
I'm better at studying these things than I am when I was in school.
yesterday hemond and I went on a nature hike. we finally made it to the spot he wanted to show me. amazing view! overlooked all of... gosh... everything. and it was this little cliff, and it felt so... just... special secret spot.
and then we went to Bamburg, but at night, so... I didn't get to go into any shops (which I was looking at, and totally wanted to...)
and maybe we'll go today... i don't know.
maybe.
but he told me that there were a bunch of american troops stationed in bambourg, and I said, "how funny! you know, it's on my list of things to do, to sing for american troops".
and so he brought me to an american sub shop to get some food, and there were two soldiers outside.
and so i talked to them for a bit and one was Wes from Illinois, and the other was Quintin from Pennsylvania.
they were sweet. Wes is going to Baghdad in May, for fifteen months. he is so young. he's a sweet boy, I know it.
and while I didn't sing for them, I almost wish I'd sung for Wes, in case he never gets that chance again, in case he never comes back.
and when I left I gave them both hugs, and Quintin, who said they had to go back to the barracks, he gave me that kind of hug that you can feel they don't really want to let go, but their energy says it, and their mind is slow to realize it.
and I just wanted to go and hug all the troops and make them less homesick to hear an american girl's voice and have an american girl's hugs.
I wonder when the last time they were hugged was...
it's an idea. and I'm really surprised, but a lot of europeans are interested in our politics. we really need to make good decisions. we're affecting the world with our shenanigans.
